Help Center

Everything you need to make the most of Fontacy.

Getting Started

  1. Type or paste your text into the input box on the homepage.
  2. Browse the style grid — or use the category filter (Bold, Gothic, Glitch…) to narrow it down.
  3. Click Copy on any style to copy it to your clipboard.
  4. Paste it into Instagram, Discord, Twitter, TikTok, WhatsApp, or anywhere you like.

Copying Text

Each style card has a Copy button. Use Copy All to grab every style at once. On mobile browsers, copying falls back to a standard method that works without special permissions. If a copy looks empty, try copying again — some styles need a moment to generate.

Favorites & History

  • Favorites ❤ — star any style to pin it at the top for quick access.
  • History — every conversion you copy is saved as a snapshot. Reopen, copy again, or star it from the History panel.
  • Both are stored only in your browser's LocalStorage and never leave your device.

Sharing

Use the Share button to generate a link that restores your text and style selection — perfect for sending a style to a friend. You can also share directly to Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Telegram with one tap.

Zalgo & Glitch Tips

  • Use the intensity slider to control how corrupted your text looks.
  • Heavy Zalgo/Glitch text is fun for usernames but can be filtered or hidden by Instagram and other platforms — use it sparingly.
  • Stuck with corrupted text? Paste it into the UnZalgo tool on the Zalgo page to restore clean text.

Platform Compatibility

Most Unicode styles work on Instagram, Discord, Twitter/X, WhatsApp, TikTok, and Facebook. Some styles (especially heavy combining-character styles) may display differently or be filtered on certain platforms. For the full style-by-platform matrix, see the Platform Compatibility Guide. For the best results, check our Instagram Fonts, Discord Fonts, and Twitter Fonts guides.

Characters Showing as Boxes?

If a converted character displays as a box (□) or question mark, your device's font doesn't include that glyph. This is rare on modern devices — try updating your browser or operating system. The same text usually renders fine on other devices.

Can I Use Fontacy Text Commercially?

Yes. Unicode characters are not copyrighted, so text you convert with Fontacy can be used anywhere, including commercially — for brand names, merchandise, or any other purpose.
